Extracurricular Clubs and Activities

Students are encouraged to participate in extracurricular activities. To learn more about a club or activity, select the name in the drop-down below.

Student-led clubs are initiated, created, and led by students at each individual school campus where the club is active. A student who wishes to organize a non-school sponsored, student-led club must obtain prior written consent from the school principal.  These clubs are not governed by school officials, but a club monitor is present at the time of student-led club meetings held on school campuses. Parents or legal guardians must complete and sign a permission form to participate in a student-led club before their child may participate.

Visit WCS Board Policy 6.702 for detailed guidelines and rules about school-sponsored and student-led clubs, activities, and organizations.

School-Sponsored Clubs

Before a student is allowed to participate in a school-sponsored club, a parent or guardian must sign the county permission form.  A separate permission slip must be completed for every club or organization that each student joins.
